SENIOR FRIENDS
Senior Friends comprises a group of people — empty-nesters, retirees, those approaching retirement, and others — who gather weekly during the Sunday School/teaching hour (9:30 a.m.) for fellowship and instruction. They extend their fellowship beyond the walls of the church building with a monthly dinner at various local restaurants. In class they share praises, concerns and spiritual needs of fellow participants. The group has developed into a strong prayer-warrior entity for the church ministry as well as those in need outside the church.
As an added outreach Senior Friends participate in giving to the church camp fund which provides scholarships to children for summer camp , as well as providing funds to organizations or individuals with needs in other ministry areas. Senior Friends enjoy blessing others as they feel led to do.
