Pastor David Searle

Pastor Dave has been a part of church ministry his entire life, growing up in a pastor’s home while his father served as the senior pastor of various churches, spending most of his life in a church ministry in Altoona, PA.  He received his B.S. degree in Bible and Education at Lancaster Bible College and a M.S. degree in Christian Education Administration at Pensacola Christian College.  He began his ministry as Senior Pastor at South Pymatuning Community Church in October of 1991 after serving as a youth pastor and Christian school administrator for 15 years.  He has a son, Stephen; a daughter, Stacy; two grandchildren, Bryce and Addy; and his wonderful wife, Janet, who serves in ministry for the Lord alongside him and is an amazing asset to the ministry they have been called to at SPCC.  Pastor Dave enjoys officiating basketball for local high school teams and follows the Pittsburgh sports teams.  He enjoys most Christian music artists but loves Casting Crowns, Third Day and Mercy Me.  His favorite verse is I Corinthians 15:58 where Paul teaches us, and Pastor Dave’s prayer is that he will always be faithful to this challenge—“My beloved brethren; be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
